Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Jobney, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable terms provided by Apple. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Jobney provides

Jobney provides tools for organizing job applications, including application tracking, interview scheduling, tasks, job application analytics and insights, message templates, and interview preparation. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the app evolves.

3. License

Subject to these terms, Jobney grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the job details, notes, messages, interview prep materials, and other content you create in Jobney. You are responsible for your content and must have the right to use it. Do not create or store content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, or violates these terms.

5. Responsible use

You agree not to misuse Jobney. In particular, you may not:

• Use the app for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app, except where applicable law permits
• Bypass subscription limits, security controls, or other built-in protections
• Copy, resell, sublicense, or distribute Jobney or its proprietary materials without permission

6. Premium features, subscriptions, and billing

Some features may require a subscription or other in-app purchase. Prices and subscription periods are shown before purchase. Purchases are billed to your Apple ID through the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings.

7. Trials, cancellations, and refunds

If a free trial is offered, its duration and conditions will be shown before you subscribe. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription. Canceling stops future renewals but generally does not provide a refund for the current period. Apple handles billing disputes and refund requests under its policies.

8. Intellectual property

Jobney, including its software, design, branding, and app-provided materials, is owned by the service provider or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Jobney or its intellectual property to you.

9. Third-party services

Jobney relies on Apple services such as the App Store and, when enabled, iCloud. Your use of those services is subject to Apple's terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or interruptions caused by them.

10. Job-search disclaimer

Jobney is an organization and preparation tool. It does not guarantee interviews, employment, offers, compensation, or the accuracy of content entered by users. You are responsible for reviewing your information and making your own career decisions.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue any part of Jobney at any time. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will remain compatible with every device or operating system version.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobney is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, employment opportunities, profits, or other outcomes arising from or related to your use of Jobney. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Termination

You may stop using Jobney at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if you materially violate these terms, misuse the app, or when necessary to protect Jobney, its users, or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Jobney evolves or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when revisions are posted. Continued use of Jobney after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
